Lycee Francais de Chicago

"Oui" are the world

There’s no denying that French plays a critical role in education at Lycee. Founded in 1995, Lycée Française de Chicago is a remarkable French school serving more than 700 children pre-kindergarten through high school located on Chicago’s north side. This small, diverse, not-for-profit, independent school has built a reputation for teaching students in a dual-language learning environment that provides the academic rigor of the French National Curriculum. However there is growing competition from new private schools touting a global education and from public schools offering IB programs. It was important for Lycee to reaffirm its position as Chicago's premier international school. Lycee is also embarking on a huge step in its very young history. The Lycee community is building a new school from the ground up at the corner of Damen and Wilson – scheduled to open in Fall 2015. The school was at the perfect moment in time to launch a branding campaign. The “Oui” are the world campaign embraces and celebrates its Frenchness, underscores its global reputation, helps articulate the schools value proposition in an eye-catching, authentic approach, will increase enrollment in both preschool and high school and get Chicago excited about the new school campus.
