I love what I do. I'm excited every day I walk in. Over-delivering for my clients is in my DNA. There is no substitute for passion.

I was reared on very "old fashioned" advertising principles that were instilled in me while working at Leo Burnett: Deliver the best advertising, best client service, best research, best what ever it is bar none. And do it with humility. I still get somewhat anxious with every new assignment. It's as if it were my first time creating something and the whole world is watching. It better be good. Damn good. (Now, isn't that the kind of creative person you want working on your stuff?)

When I'm not working at Turner+Cunniff, I love to fly fish in Montana and Mexico, create furniture and sculpture and explore the best Chicago has to offer. Oh, and much to the chagrin of the CSO, I gave up studying violin years ago.

I am a former Vice President and Creative Director at Leo Burnett. During my 20 years at this international advertising agency, I launched 14 major campaigns for such high-profile clients as Miller Brewing, Procter and Gamble, General Motors, Nestle, Pillsbury, Philip Morris International and StarKist. I also earned a reputation as a worldwide troubleshooter for both international and domestic agency clients. Awards: Clio, Addy, One Show, International Film Festival and Effie advertising industry awards. Education: B.S.B.A. from Roosevelt University, Chicago; additional studies at Art Institute of Chicago, and Columbia College, Chicago. Member: Chicago Botanic Garden, Chicago Humanities Festival, Art Institute of Chicago, the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (committee member) and Victories of the Heart.
